ASHER Educational Advisor Dr. Shay Pilnik, the Director of the Emil and Jenny A. Fish Holocaust and Genocide Studies Center at Yeshiva University, served as guest speaker at Congregation Beth Tefillah in Scottsdale, AZ in commemoration of Kristallnacht.
Over the course of the weekend, 350 people got to hear Dr. Pilnik speak on the topics of The Ravine of Memory – Babyn Yar and the Battle to Commemorate the Holocaust in the Soviet Union, and Lessons from Kristallnacht.
