ASHER’s Jewish Agency Emissary, Adi Farkash, recently participated in the inaugural Masa Alumni Fellows Retreat, bringing together young adults from around the world who recently completed long-term programs in Israel. Selected through a competitive process, these fellows will spend the coming year serving as leaders and educators on college campuses and in their communities.
During the retreat, participants engaged in an interactive workshop exploring the interconnected topics of antisemitism, the Holocaust, and Zionism. Through meaningful discussion and practical educational strategies, they examined how these subjects continue to shape Jewish identity and contemporary discourse.
Each fellow received ASHER’s Images & Identity educational card set, developed in partnership with the Department for Israel and Holocaust Commemoration at the World Zionist Organization. Using carefully curated historical photographs, the program encourages participants to explore identity, memory, and the human stories behind history while fostering thoughtful dialogue.
ASHER is honored to equip these emerging leaders with resources they can bring back to their campuses, empowering them to facilitate meaningful conversations around the Holocaust throughout the coming year.
