Recently, participants from ASHER’s 2026 Mission to Poland reunited at the home of fellow travelers Vera and Michael Celler for an evening of learning and connection. The gathering featured an insightful presentation by ASHER Chief Educational Consultant Dr. Michael Berenbaum on “The Death and Rebirth of Jewish Life in Poland.”
One of the most powerful outcomes of our ASHER Mission is the community that emerges from a shared journey of education and remembrance. As we walked through places that bear witness to both the devastation of the Holocaust and the resilience of the Jewish people, we deepened our understanding of history and strengthened our commitment to the future.
The mission does not end when the trip concludes. Through meaningful dialogue and lasting relationships, participants become ambassadors for remembrance and active contributors to the next chapter of the Jewish story.
