Who we are
Learning from our past, inspiring our future

Our story

The Holocaust remains one of the darkest chapters in human history—six million Jewish lives systematically targeted and murdered by the Nazi regime and its collaborators. The scale and savagery continue to shock, reminding us of the horrific consequences of unchecked hatred.

Yet today, just 80 years later, remembrance of the Holocaust is fading, distorted, or denied. Antisemitism is rising at unprecedented levels, even in places once considered safe havens.

Amid this darkness, there is hope—but only if we act.

By preserving the Holocaust’s memory and lessons, we combat hatred and antisemitism, building a future where resilience, understanding, and courage guide us.

Now is the time to come together, to educate, and to remember—for the future of the Jewish people and for all of humanity.

Why ASHER exists

At ASHER, we believe that Holocaust education is essential—not just for preserving history but for building a brighter future.

Our mission is to educate the world about the Holocaust, and the history of how it came to be, in ensuring its memory and lessons serve as powerful tools to face antisemitism and hatred.

We do this by:

Honoring the past

Respect, honor, and remember the Holocaust. Cherish those who perished, honor survivors, and express gratitude to the brave souls who saved others. Recognize its profound impact on our identity and the essential lessons it offers for our growth and survival, as a people.

Building connection

In less than a century, the Holocaust's remembrance and its lessons on human cruelty are not only fading but are being intentionally distorted, depreciated and denied. Consequently, antisemitism is not just persisting but increasing to unprecedented levels, even in areas previously considered safe havens.

Making meaning

Despite the darkness of the past and the challenges of the present, hope for a brighter future exists. This hope can become reality by deepening our remembrance of the Holocaust and the tragic history of antisemitism, and understanding its significance.

Charting new paths

The Holocaust, one of history's darkest periods, saw six million Jews systematically murdered by the Nazi regime and its allies. Its scale and brutality continue to shock and serve as a grim reminder of human depravity and the consequences of unchecked hatred.
